The umbilical cord, though invisable, can be very long and sometimes effective. I want to be there to help you, but I realize you are a grown up, very capable woman and you will manage without mom. I also know you will probably never get REALLY organized, but that is O.K. too. This a.m. I am trying to be optomistic about this beautiful snow, considering the fact that we intend to leave for Moline tomorrow morning...as you have probably heard, Darlene Powell died yesterday. Dick and Darlene have always driven up here for Grandma & Grandpa's funeral. Hope you and Emma had a good rest and Steve & Sarah returned safely.
