I have decided for the time being to do my classes on an as requested basis. If you see a project or class that you are interested in taking, call or email me and we’ll set up a time that works for both of us.

This is for the sewer that would like to use our machines and other workroom equipment at their own pace and to work on their own projects. $35/week (2 hrs.) BEGINNER - SELF-PACED
Tuesdays - Starting June 10th - 3-5pm
There has been many requests for a class specifically for teens to learn to sew. So here it is! This class is in a workshop format to work around those crazy teen schedules. It is a self-paced class. You decide what you want to make and take as long as you need to make it. I’ll help you with all the techniques and offer guidance on project choice. You can come one week a month, every week or whatever fits into your schedule.Saturday Sewing

Already know how to sew but just need a little help with a project? Pattern directions have you confused? Not quite ready to go it alone but want to work on your own project at your own pace? Join us on Saturday afternoons and we’ll help you out. Bring your pattern, materials and basic sewing supplies (use our machines or bring your own.) and we’ll provide the knowledge to get you sewing.Eco-Tote

A great easy project to get you started sewing. You’ll never have to decide between “paper and plastic” again after taking this class. Make your own eco-friendly shopping bag using fabrics of your choice. (class size: 4 students)Pajama Pants

Super comfy and ever so popular, pull-on lounge pants are the perfect first sewing project for everyone. You will learn basic pattern reading, layout and cutting, and garment construction techniques. Finished pants will have a combination elastic/drawstring waist.

You’ve seen the adorable Wool Pets™ kits in the store, now here’s your chance to learn this cool new craft. You will get to choose your own pet from our selection of kits (not included in the class fee). Grab all those plastic grocery bags out from under the sink and make a cool new tote bag! We will fuse the bags together to make a sturdy plastic “fabric” and then sew it all together for a funky bag that is perfect for the beach or pool.Tattoo Your Stuff

This shoulder bag is made by recycling an old men’s sport coat into a unique and fashionable accessory. It can be personalized even more with the addition of buttons, yo-yos, or embroidery. Beth designed this bag herself and will guide you through the entire process.Make a Mess with Us

Have a non-sewing craft project that needs more room or makes too much mess for your home craft room? Use our Messy Room to spread out and make all the mess you want (and we’ll clean up after you!) Join your friends or come and make some new ones for an evening of crafting fun. Each month we will explore a new art or craft. The class fee includes materials for the Make & Take project. 10% discount on additional materials/kits purchased to work on while here on club night.

Join other crafty Mess Makers on Tuesday mornings for crafts, conversation, and coffee (or tea if you prefer.) Bring your current project in process, a cup or mug and your sense of fun. I’ll provide the coffee and tea and a warm welcome!Alien Abduction Nights FREE!

Class Sizes are limited to ensure that you get the attention and learning time you deserve. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at sign-up. Full-payment is due on or before the first day of class. A supply list and class confirmation will be sent to you upon registration or may be picked up in the store. 10% store discount is given for all class supplies. All fees are payable by cash, check, Visa/MC/AMEX or debit.
Sew and Craft by the hour times can be reserved ahead or check for availability by calling the store.
